The Calendar Girls stage show
The Calendar Girls’ story continues to be immortalised this time with a stage show. Screenwriter Tim Firth has recreated the magic of the smash hit movie in the Calendar Girls stage show with director and Olivier-award winner Hamish McColl.
Real life Calendar Girl Angela Baker says: “The show was wonderful although it was an emotional roller coaster for me. There was a lot of laughter and tears too."
The Calendar Girls Tour begins on Wednesday 27 January 2010 and runs until Saturday 24 July 2010.
The tour will visit Chichester, Salford, Birmingham, Southend-On-Sea, Leeds, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Sheffield, Hull, Truro, Bristol, Belfast, Nottingham, Cheltenham, Bromley, Birmingham, Torquay, Eastbourne and Norwich.
